| I looking for a preban M4 type upper for my colt lower. Should I get a colt or bushmaster(cheaper)? Will the bushmaster finish match the colt lower? Opinions? |
| Most Bushmaster uppers are darker than the dull grey Colts. I have a Bushmaster M4 upper on a Colt Sporter lower receiver and the color is definately not the same. Colt uppers are a little harder to come by and much more expensive but you really only pay for the name. There are some differences peculiar to Colts like the front pivot pin is a different size than the mil spec. If color matters, go Colt, if not, the Bushmaster is a great upper. |
