| Who make the Colt side sling that goes on the M4 barrel at the front F sight? I need one of a clone of the Colt model. |
I've got a Colt I bought from SAW and a handful of them from RRA. You're right that the Colt came with different pins, I don't know about heavier but the length was different. The pins are the only difference I can see in them. |

I've purchased a couple from here a few years ago & they are still serving very well. www.tacticalshack.com/store/catalog/Tactical-Side-Sling-Mount-AR-15-p-16836.html |
Sorry 'bout that lawdog. The link worked when I posted it, but I just noticed tonight that they posted an advisement that their site is temporilly closed until further notice. Keep checking back with them or check with a few of the other major dealers. They just happened to be the cheapest I found when I purchased the side mounts. I see no reason to pay $30-$40 plus for this item elsewhere. Good luck. |
Stag arms sells them for $27 plus like $10 for shipping. I bought one from them for the bushy upper I had a few months ago. I hope this link works: Stag Side Sling

| I have both Rock River and ProMag (purchased from MidwayUSA because they were much less expensive than the Rock River). The Rock River are very well made. The ProMags have sharp corners and sharp edges. While disassembling the ProMags, the pins split and I had to go to Ace to get new ones. Spend a little more and get quality parts. The Stag side sling looks to be made very similar to the Rock River. I haven't tried the Colt side sling, so I can't comment on it. |
