I just purchased a Colt 6920 and the upper receiver is marked with a C and the Cardinal head next to it. I have never seen the cardinal forge marking on a colt before, is this new news, or has anyone had one or seen one. Usually they're marked C AF or C and diemco's forge mark, just wanted to see if you've heard any news on that.

Heck, my 6520 just has a keyhole on it's upper. Nothing else.

I have a carry handle off of a COLT that only has the Cardinal mark, nothing else... I will venture and say that it is just another forging that COLT is using...
