Pretty simple, has anybody tried one of these?  I'm thinking of trying one since I need a scope while waiting for the Falcon 4-14x44 FFP scope to come in, which is still 2 months away.

AIM scopes come from the same OEM as Vector Sunclear and Counter Sniper. I've seen them selling the AIM branded ones at gunshows for over $400, I'd say at that price they're having a laugh. $189 is better, no doubt the cheapest you'll find an FFP scope, but for about $30 more you might be able to pick up what i think is a bit nicer Slightly blem'd Millett TRS I have a Vector 1x4 FFP and have been very happy with it, well put together, nice bright optics, for around $200, very good. There's another Vector thread here

I got one of the Millett TRS and it's quite nicely put together, very clear at both ends of the zoom, couldn't find fault with the glass (mine had a small bump in the tube ) It's not FFP though, if that's what you're specifically after.

Very helpful reply asiparks ... thank you!

I'm looking at this FFP scope since I have the Falcon on order, might as well start getting used to the FFP now if i can.

Hmm, well I just got mine and spent the last 15 minutes going over it ... initial impression is WOW, killer optic for a great price.  I'm a Pro Photographer, so I know optics, and the glass in this scope is sharper than anything I've seen at under $300-$400.  The illumination is sharp and crisp, and the FFP works as advertised.  It seems built well, all the turrets and knobs are firm and feel solid.  It came with a decent pair of high rings as well, also a lens cloth, see through flip caps, and a brief users manual.

No pics yet, it's raining like crazy here now ... but as soon as we get some light I'll snap a few shots.  And this weekend I should have a range report wtih it mounted on a 6.8 SPC rifle.
