I need some input on Command Arms Stocks.  I don't see a lot of them on here are they any good?  I like their versatility I am thinking about either getting one of these or a Vltor Imod.  Any input is appreciated positive or negative.

Funny that you posted this... I just received my order for my magpul ACS stock yesterday. Spent last night taking off my CAA stock and doing a bit of sanding to the ACS to fit my buffer tube. I liked the features of the CAA, but it had a lot of play on the buffer tube (ACS no play at all.. a bit too tight that's why I was sanding it down). The only reason I took it off was because everything else on my stick was magpul, other than that it is a okay stock.

i use there stock on two of my rifles.. Never had a problem with either of them and the rail gives you some options..i have found the battery storage to be quite waterproof aswell. atleast enough to cover you in heavy rain or a slip into water

What options does a rail on a buttstock give you...

ETA: As for my input, I have not handled a CAA stock, but for the same amount of money I would go Magpul MOE, or standard 6-pos.

i used one the last half of my tour in iraq and used it outside the wire about every day. it worked great. i used the rail on the side to attach a magazine using the CAA rail/mag coupler thingy. it was nice for inside the wire where people are retarded about loaded weapons. I now have Vltor Emods I like it better because its a little more solid and holds a lot more batteries/pen flares.

what is really nice about this stock is the QD attachment points if youre a wolf hook sling guy like me. it also has a nice big rubber pad on the end that really comfortable also protecs the drain hole in the end of the buffer tube. the bottom sling mount is a hard plastic though. i didnt like that but no one uses parade slings now anyway. i would go with the Emod or maybe the Magpul, it seems solid but i wouldnt kick this one out either just because a lot of people dont like CAA

what a great response from someone who has actually used one... not just mindless bashing because it's not magpul (btw I like magpul products)

I looked at one. It has a lot of features and was damn tight on the tube. The weight is what put me off.
