I am wanting a mount for a Comp M3 and looking mostly at Larue mounts.  Cantilever or not is my question.  I may want NVG or Magnification later but, for now, would there be a drawback to the cantilever mount.?
Thanks

Why would you want one? Space? Eye relief?

I don't really know.  I guess what I'm asking is, if I am not putting a magnifier or nvg on right now, are there any drawbacks to having the cantilever mount.    I've had all Eotechs to this point.

No there are no drawbacks to the cantilever mount.  If you are planning on adding a magnifier behind it later, it's a no brainer - go with the LT-129.

This, buy once. You'll be happy.

Cantilever all the way.  You get more room on the upper for goodies like NVG, magnifier and BUIS.

That is what I am going to do.  Thanks!
