[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Compact ACOG Special Ring Mount?

Besides the Trijicon MM07F, are there any other options for mounting a Compact ACOG with the special ring mount? I want to mount this as low as possible and I was hoping for a quick-release/throw-lever option. I’ll be using the Compact ACOG on an FAL with an A.R.M.S. mount.

Go with LaRue, the best mounts made, period....I have owned them all and none can compare to LaRue products

I don't think LaRue makes anything for the special ring mounts?

I am in the same fix. I think I am going to opt with a Med mount from Trijicon.

I wonder if you could use an M16 adapter and then fit that to a LaRue Compact Acog mount?

Anyone tried this?

77Bronc: I've perused Larue's web site and, as "Longboat" has responded, I don't think Larue makes anything for Compact ACOGs with the special ring setup.

Longboat: I think your plan would work (M16 adaptor, etc.), although you'd end up with a combination that's too high for my purposes.

Assuming I use something like Trijicon's MM07F, how do they perform? Quick/easy to remove, return to zero, etc.?
