Can you guys suggest some compact scopes that have a small objective (32mm or less) that are high power (at least 14x).

The only one I'm really finding is the Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32mm.  I'm a little wary of Burris scopes.  Are the Timberline models even remotely quality scopes?

I know IOR has some interesting offferings, but their eye relief, from what I hear, is pretty short.

This scope is for an M14 type rifle.  I currently have a Leupold Ultralight 2-7x28 on it, but would like more magnification.  Compact is important, I don't want a Fudd scope on this rifle...it has an 18" barrel, not a 22".  The smaller the better.  The Nightfore 2-10x24 is what I'm after, but would like more magnification.  Suggestions would be appreciated!

I have found the burris scopes to be good.  This includes the timberline models.  They are also available with the plex reticle which works for both 6.8 and 5.56. Right on the money at 100,2,3,and 400 yards.
