I have a spikes tactical pro comp, is there any special way to install this besides the crush washer? Does the pin need to be perfectly straight with the bottom of the barrel even though I'm not pin and welding it?

If it came with shims, then use those and make sure it times right when you torque it down. You should probably hand tighten until it is offset by about 45 degrees so that when you torque it down it is the correct orientation
