Looking for suggestions for a compensator on an AR308. I am currently using a Bennie Cooley Brake. I am very satisfied with its performance. However, I want another one that is still a good compensator but not as much noise and sideward concussion. In other words, I'd like to be a good neighbor at the range  Also if we could keep it under $100. Thanks in advance

Following ArfCom tradition, let me recommend the Seekins Precision ATC brake, along with a shim kit, which is above your budget. But I am impressed with what a difference it made in recoil on my 308, and not too annoying as far as lateral blast. I'm sure other folks will chime in.
