| Hey guys. I was a very regular member around these parts a few years ago. I have since sold my AR's (not by choice) and am wanting to get back into the game. I am probably going to pick up a stripped lower in the next few days to start a build on. I will then add an LPK and probably a Vltor stock. My question is.... at this time where the best deals for good Quality assembled uppers? I would be wanting something in a M4 bbl with a flat top upper. Either 16' or 14.5" bbl. I would prefer 1/7, but 1/9 would be okay as well and a chrome lined bbl is a must. Where should I be looking? Thanks. |

Now's a good time for complete uppers- a few off the top of my head:
Bravo Company- BCM uppers are great- very high quality; they also sell LMT and Noveske uppers; ? maybe Daniel Defense also. Spike's Tactical- very high quality; their stripped lower receivers are also top notch, and probably about the lowest price out there. Daniel Defense- some good deals currently- very high quality. Colt- I don't know where to get Colt uppers by themselves, maybe someone else will. Noveske- very high quality as well, especially the barrels. PK Firearms- look there- they have some uppers built around Sabre Defence barrels- Sabre barrels are very high quality and durable- they make barrels for machine guns for the US Military, and also are now a Govt. contractor for the M16 rifle. They also have uppers based on Daniel Defense barrels. Others will have suggestions, I'm sure. ETA: if you don't already know about 16 inch uppers with mid-length gas systems, take a while to learn about them. They are worth a good hard look. |

But the complete rifle also comes with a P-Mag and a good quality soft case, along with the carry handle, for that 100$ difference. |
