| I'd like to get a sense of how much the average person is buying.. Now is a good time to practice on how you're going to tell your wife you maxed out the credit cards on your AR builds. And so maybe some of you can feel better, knowing that you are not the only one swiping some serious plastic. Pics of your new investments are more than welcome. |

Well, my wife already knows what I've bought and I didn't use credit but I'll play. 2 Aero Precision stripped lowers 2 Aero Precision stripped uppers 1 PSA stripped lower 1 Noveske stripped upper 3x Lower Parts kits 3x Upper Receiver Parts kits 1 Magpul ACS stock 3x Buffer tubes, Springs, Buffers 1 DD Lite 12 rail 1 16 Spike's M4LE Barrel 1 BattleComp 2.0 1 Lo-pro DD clamp on gas block 1 Carbine length gas tube 1 BCG 20x PMAGs 1000 rds mixed M855/M193 200 rds .45 ACP 400 rds 9mm As I refuse to pay retarded prices it's slow going finding the parts for each of these builds, but not too bad overall. I've got one finished and the other two should be done in a month or two. |

I've only been buying small parts since the panic started, and only as needed.
All my big purchases were done before the election. Only thing I should have bought large amounts of but did not was ammo...so my weekend shooting has been curtailed a bit as I don't want to shoot up my reserve stocks. Last purchase was a couple barrel nuts and delta ring assemblies from Bravo Company, week before last? Wife knows what I buy and how much, not easy hiding stuff like that when we have joint accounts, works both ways as I see everything she buys too. |
