Hello all, since it looks like {Redacted} is dissolving, and splitting into at least two companies, a request was made to start a second thread specifically for Copperhead Safety, and their work moving forward. Copperhead Safety As a long time user of the original {Redacted} MARC, I am looking forward to seeing where the two completely separate and different companies (why would you ever think otherwise?) go from here. I plan on picking up an Ambi MARC at some point for my DD M4, since the original is working so well. So let's give a rowdy welcome to Copperhead Safety and their new MARC that is totally different and not at all related to any products produced by {Redacted}, or anyone else for that matter! And, completely unrelated, but overly important lawyers and people that think they can own a conversation are idiots. |

As pointed out in the other thread, it looks like Copperhead Safety is up and running. Their MARC II is available to order. I'd love to pick one up to replace my original MARC, but I blew all my fun money on an MP5 clone. Both of the MARC IIs on Copperhead's and Corn Gunworks site look the same - different prices. The selectors are the same - shorter left side and longer right side. To me this is opposite of norm. For a right hand shooter - I prefer the longer lever of an ambi on the left side. Corn Gunworks offers the option of a longer left side lever with a longer lever on the right side as standard. A $20 difference for the same looking item. |

I don't know what's up with the long right side selector only option. That's odd. The $20 difference seems to be a sale or introductory price more than anything. CGW does have the same $225 price, just crossed out, and marked down to $199.99. Who knows, maybe they have a legal agreement to market them at the same price, but can reduce the price for sales and the like? |
