| I have been reading a little about the Countersniper Optics, but have not been able to find many reviews. Does anyone have any experience with these optics? I am specifically interested in the 3-25x56, but would be interested in any information about the overall quality of the optics in general. |

they are the laughing stock of the shooting community. they're advertisements are often quoted and mocked due to their corny marketing descriptions. they word things in such a way, that their products appeal to those that don't know shit about optics. if the manufacturer trys to flower up their product with a bullshit discriptions you know their product sucks, usually.
that said, they probably aren't as bad as people say they are. check out snipershide.com and look at the optics forum. that's a great long range shooting forum. they'll tell you to get a Super Sniper scope if you can't afford a $1000+ Leupold, NightForce, Schmidt & Bender, or US Optics. i settled on a Falcon scope and am quite happy with it. paid just under $400 with shipping. it's a 4.5-18x56 side focus with crosshair that corresponds to the turrets for range estimation. mil based reticle & turrets is the way to go. here's why: i mounted my scope using a deck of cards to get it level left to right. i used a buddies bushnell boresighter. i went to the range & shot one shot w/ my crosshair on the bullseye it missed high and right but was on paper. i measured my up & right with the crosshair & dialed that into the reticle. my next shot went through the bullseye. it was fucking awesome. |
