Personally, I wouldn't choose a KX3 due to weight. I opted for a Troy Claymore brake due to its lower weight, compared to the KX3.

Thanks, with the rail being so lightweight do you think it'll be a problem

Having the weight of the KX3 upfront can be looked at 2 ways. On one hand, it can help with muzzle rise but on the other hand, it does make the pistol heavier. AR pistols can be surprisingly heavy compared to their rifle counterparts.

I also read favorable reviews for the Claymore and I didn't feel the KX3 was worth the extra money. I chose a pistol operated 7.5" upper so that added a bit more to the pistol cost, compared to a DI operated upper.

I wouldnt worry about the weight of the muzzle device. It's a 7.5" upper...that thing is light as hell.

+1, and those KX3's look badass poking out the end of a rail IMO

The end of the rail is slightly longer than the barrel, so it should shroud the kx3 just a bit, looks awesome

I have the Troy claymore on my SBR and It has little to no muzzle rise , Its loud as hell on the receiving end though as will  the KX3
have you had your hands onthe Ergo grip ? if not I might suggest you find one and see how you like the feel first . Other than that your list looks good .

Yeah, I've got the ergo on my rifle and like it.

I keep hearing that its going to be loud, is it markedly louder than an ar15? I've never shot a pistol ar15 before

My roomate has a 7.5" barrel with flaming pig and it's quieter than my 16" carbine w/ Rainier mini comp on it.

The Pig seems to throw all the sound downrange....I was suprised at how quiet it was.

I've read a couple of times the RRA BCG are not mil spec.  I would go with a different choice.
