| I was firing a newly built AR and was having FTF failures. The failures were every other one. And the failures produced no firing pin indentations. Upon examining I found the firing pin (matte) was crooked. Turning the firing pin it would operate freely and then turning further it would bind up. I ordered a stainless steel replacement from Midway. I will admit I did the 15 minute trigger job on all of my ARs and this was the only failure I have had.Very happy with the trigger results doing this modification.
