I bought a Bushnell and Banner scope for my AR10 and Mounted it with the crosshairs at the typical 12 to 6 o'clok 9 to 3 position.

After firing, 10 rounds,  for the first time my crosshairs shifted to the 10 to 4, 8 to 2 position. That is without the scope moving it the rings.
Is it that the scope was defective or just a cheap scope? Do I need to return scope to dealer?

I had that happen on a 20ga shotgun years ago.

Boxed it up and sent it in to bushnell and get a new scope back.

The new one is still working to this day.

You could return it to the dealer, if they won't take it back send it in.

The scope's defective. I'd return it for refund, and use that money to buy a better scope. Once you get a GOOD optic, you'll never go back to the bargain basement.
