[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Crush Washer Question

Does the crush washer for the compensator need to be facing one way or the other?

I understand that it really shouldn't matter, but I am a stickler for details.

This is a Phantom 5C2 that I am trying to install, but it looks the same as the washer that came with my A2 Birdcage.

Bevel should be toward the rear of the rifle, IIRC.
