why are the marked for LE or military only? Then you see some selling to civi's? If a dealer sells one to you, is it illegal, or only insight tech that says only miltary gets them? Chris |

FDA regulations on those are that mfg.s may only sell to LEO and MIL. Once it gets past that point they are resellable to civi's, at least that is how some read the law. Some dealers will resell them, as that is how they read the law, other dealers will not resell them to anyone but LEO or contractors as they read the law as these items should not be in general circulation. You should be able to if you can get letterhead stating that you have a duty reason for having it. From the folk I have spoken to about them, it is pretty much the same process as Post 86 mg or controlled armor. Then contact MFG for their prefered way of doing it. |
