How many foot pounds do I want to torque the barrel nut that comes with the HG down to?
I have a torque wrench.

TIA

Standard barrel nut is 30-80 ft/lbs.

I dialed the torque wrench to 35, tightened, loosened and tightened until the gas tube holes lined up.

ETA: If I remember correctly my DD lite rail barrel nut doesn't require timing. I think I just torqued it to 35lbs

Doesn't it say in the DD instructions 50 ft lbs?  I've installed a couple (but not for at least a year or so) and I seem to recall the instructions provide a torque value.

Here is another reference for the 50 ft lb value...

I believe the instructions say 50-75 foot pounds. I did 55.
