Anyone running one?  Im curious how it locks up?  Any play?

They look real nice.  Advantage being no removal of FSB etc.

Thoughts?

I am running two of them on two M4-geries.  Lock up is very strong and no play at all.

I'm running a 12" Omega on a 20" Gov't profile.

Absolutely rock solid. Installed it in ten minutes and the continuous rail matched up perfectly with the A3 upper. The 13 ounce weight balanced the rifle right at the front pivot pin with a 20 round mag and the A2 stock.

I tested her out with 200 rounds and Q3131 and she didn't move at all. I've since put a Grippod on her and put another 400 62gr down the tube and she still hasn't budged.

If you can't tell I'm very satisfied.

I have one on a carbine.

Stupid-easy to install, locks up tight with no play.
It even feels good in my hand (once I put ladder-type rail covers on).

I'm very happy with mine.

What really surprised me was how well supported the set screws are.  No worries about the strength of the mounting system!  Sure it probably doesn't stand up to the strength of dedicated FF rails like the LITE/Larue, but the difference in strength is pretty much irrelevant.  Anything that can break an Omega rail will likely break the entire rifle or person holding the rifle first.

Of course, one thing to watch out for is to make sure your stock barrel nut is sufficiently torqued.  It's popped up more than once that someone's Omega rail didn't feel sloppy, and the culprit is usually a loose barrel nut.  The range of torque is 30 ft/lbs to 80 ft lbs

9.0 inch on a CMMG.  Very secure, very easy to install.  Best thing since sliced bread.
