I have mine on and it doesn't twist what so ever, but there is some horizontal movement.  Is that normal?  I have the set screws snug, but do I need them tighter to prevent this?

Anyone with an Omega with some input?  The movement is very slight but it's there.  After I tightened down the set screws as instructed it was better but still slightly noticable.

Mine is tight. Shoots great with it on. Sorry I can't help. Maybe take it off and put back together watching for the Horizontal spacing.

I guess I'll give that a try.  Anyone else with any ideas?

I don't know why you are having the issue you are but I can also confirm that mine is 100% solid with absolutely zero play in any direction. I would contact DD if you can't get it figured out.

I have installed 10-12 of these for folk now, and I have not had any display what you are describing.

Check to make sure that the set screws are tight, you may have possibly missed one or two and have a little wobble. Not that many things to do on the Omega rails, so if that is not the case I would check in with DD and see what they can offer for advice.

There is zero movement when installed properly.  The below guide may be of some help.

It looks like what happened was the tip of the allen wrench that comes with the Omega started to round itself off and was slipping.  I don't know if it came like that or what the deal is, but I grabbed a new allen wrench from the basement and used it to snug all of the set screws up and it's rock solid now.  Cut my DD covers to the size I wanted and it works like a champ now!

Glad to hear it.
