| Does the SS Omega hanguard halfs have the little "tit" that locks into the teeth on the barrel nut like the factory hanguards do?I ask because my hanguard in a little crooked because the nut is a little off.I don't want to get an Omega and have it the same way.In fact,it would be even more noticable. |

Not sure we understand what you are talking about. The omega's have a channel that the teeth sit in. The set screws tighten down onto the barrel nut. |

This is the correct description for how the DD Omega works though. |

Yes. It will align with the bbl nut. How is you gas tube running into your upper if the bbl nut is off kilter? |

I'm wondering if he has another problem all together... |

It wouldn't matter, the Omega will still line up fine. |
| My hanguard is very slightly leaning or canted as if they went a hair to far tightening the nut.Sights appear fine.Anyway, the factory hanguard has two demples that fit the teeth in the barrel nut to lock it in place.I was worried the DD Omega may have these too. |

No dimples.
The Omega has four set screws that tighten against nut.You need a rail segment or A3 carry handle to line up straight with upper so you might be able to offset hanguard "square" by tightening one side more than other-but then flat top wouldn't line up perfectly straight with top rail |
