IMHO, Stag is the better of the two. The fit and finish on them is outstanding, plus they are actually machined by the same company that does work for RRA and Bushmaster which are both proven products.

Never handled either, but my Ameetecs are nicer than my RRA's.

I've got a mega and stag that I haven't gotten around to building on yet-the mega has a nicer finish, the stag's color is uneven. I've neverheard of mega's having problems with uppers fitting too tight like RRA/Stag

You people are probably sick of seeing this picture. But here is a picture of my mega lower with my bushmaster upper. You can compare the finish, now realize I used the flash which makes it look like it doesn't match 100% but to the naked eye, it does.

I kinda like the atom logo on the mega; of course, if I could find a lower with NO logo, now THAT would be my preference. I guess I need a mill.

I've built 11 Stags and 2 MEGAS, along with others.

I like the MEGA's just a little more. Not as tight in the rear takedown pin area.

well with the two you asked about i like the mega.

i have built with them and they have went together real well and the finish is near perfect.

i havent built any stags but did handle them at a show recently and almost went home with it. (reason i didnt was because they sold out before i got back

)

Stag. They are the same as RRA as they are made by CMT. I have one on my SAM and it is very high quality. The tightness in the rear is good, as once you put the upper on it and get it pinned, it is nice and tight.

I've got a Stag, the finish is nice and there aren't any problems with the color, it's as good as any I've seen, it fit my upper perfectly.
