I have a tear drop FA and want to switch to the round style. How do I do it and what kind of tools do I need?

The f/a assembly is held in the upper with a single roll pin. You'll need a roll pin punch and small hammer to remove the pin.
Remove the pin, replace old assy with new, reinstall the roll pin.

Remember that when you install your forward assist, you need to make sure the notch or relieved portion is facing in. When you tap the new roll pin in, make sure you have your forward assist pressed in about halfway.
