Hey yall, know if DPMS can put a dust cover and forward assist on one of there LR series of rifles? I like them but it kinda makes it lose that battle ready aspect that I like about ARs...

they do have that available. It came later and I'm not sure what model(s) they put it on normally. But if you are special ordering you can get it.

Forward assist and dust cover are already on my DPMS LR-308 AP-4. Came that way.

Sorry i meant the LR308 with the 24' bbl. i like them, and now that i know i can will have to start saveing for one...

order an AP4 upper receiver. You'll get a normal height rail, dust cover, etc without changing everything about the rifle.
(I had a DPMS308LR with the 24" barrel....I traded it for an FAL, and I miss it)

I would get the AP upper but i dont have the tools to install the bbl. i will try DPMS on my next day off to see how long it would take.
