No safety/reliability issues. However shooting 5.56 out of a .223 barrel MAY cause reliability issues (casings sticking). Depends on the particular ammo and how close to the minimum .223 dimensions your chamber is cut. I've seen .223 chambered rifles choke on Winchester Q3131A (5.56) and I've seen them eat it with ease. |
