| I have a DPMS 16 inch 308 upper {16'' AP4} and I would like to install 12 inch la rue or daniel defense rail on it. Is there anything I should know about making a change like that besides needing a low profile gas block? Will one of these rails mount to the DPMS upper or does it require a rail system designed for 308? A little help please I am new to the 308. |
I know DD makes a Lite that works with the DPMS 308 perfectly, but you will NEED to get one with the correct barrel nut (when ordering). Larue makes them as well, but MAY require slight Dremel or hand filing, the Keeper, to fit, but is still a great unit. Stick on a Low-Pro GB, or send it to us for the FSB Shave (or do it yourself), and you have a sweet looking rifle.
