| Hey fellas i am thinking about buying a DPMS 6.8 spc from a guy, it has 6-25 round mags and 120 rounds of ammo. for $1200. is the DPMS worth a damn? I currently have a bushmaster O.R.C that i would be selling to purchase it. Good idea? |
I like DPMS I have a 24in ss bull barrel upper and lower from them. Having said that I also have a RRA Entry Tac. If I had to sell one it would be the DPMS. I would keep the bushmaster. Ammo is alot more in a 6.8 and is hard to find by me. Post some pics of both if you can.

1 DPMS 6.8 rifle = $989.00 MSRP (comes with 2 PRI 25 round mags = $43.00/ea) 4 25 round magazines = $17.00/ea if C-Prod or a lot more if PRI or Barrett 120 rounds (5 20 round boxes) = $20.00/ea 989+17+17+100=$1123 Now add sales tax for all the above and do the math yourself. You could have bought the rifle (before OHB was elected) for less than MSRP, so he might be asking what he has in it. The rifle has the standard 'tight' SAAMI chamber and a 1:10 twist barrel.
