I picked up this DPMS pretty cheap a year or so ago. It's one of the finest AR's I've fired or owned, however I don't know what it is. Is there anyone out there that knows if this AR came from the factory like this, if so what model is it, or is it custom built? I've searched every corner of the internet and can't find anything, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Like what exactly?  Do you mean with scope and bipod?  Do you have a picture of the receiver markings?

No, scope and bipod were added. I would just like to know if this rifle was factory made by DPMS. 16 inch bull barrel, no delta ring, full stock, & carrying handle. I can post a pic of the receiver in a second, but they are "CAL .223, MOD. A-15.

16. How can I find out the manufacture date of my rifle?

Email [email protected] to request the date of manufacture or the model ID of your rifle. Be sure to send your complete serial number off of your lower receiver. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for your reply.

(Best answer possible.  You could also ask in the DPMS industry forrum)

I think it looks like a factory model, just not a current one.
