Can anyone tell me the distance from the  centerline of bore to  the top of the rail on a DPMS LR308.  I am trying to see if a Daniel Defense 7.62  Lite rail  will fit my DPMS. The distance from the centerline of bore and the top of rail needs to be 1.325 to fit my rifle . How could I find what this distance is on my DPMS.

Can you turn the carrier group around backwards and measure with calipers from the firing pin hole to the top of the receiver?
I can try this evening if you don't have calipers.

Why would it not..... Did DPMS start using proprietary setup?

They make high and low upper receivers.
I'm sorry, I'm working long hours and forgot to measure last night.
Will try tomorrow.

Sorry, got busy. I have the low shelf DPMS LR308
I am reading 1.3", center of FP hole to top of receiver.

Edit; after 2nd mesurement I am getting 1.260 center to top.
I had the caliper inside of the FP hole which was at the far edge(away from the top of receiver) of the hole and it was adding roughly .035-.040".
OK, that's my final answer.
Not technical, but I hope that helps.
