Hey guys.  I'm looking for a simple bare bones semi auto 308.  I found this one on EE.  I want it to be reliable and relatively accurate out to 200 yards.  How's this one?  Is it a decent starter 308?

Thats a good deal. Nice rifle to start with. You have there low profile upper and it take PMAGS. You can add stuff later. There barrels are quite good. That is how I started and added a little as time and money came avalible.

That was how it stated out. I upgraded with a Troy FF rail, And got a Rainer Select barrel. Mid-length gas sytem. A better triger etc.

I will not comment on the price because that is not exactly kosher to do so , good or bad.  But the rifle itself is a fine rifle which will be more accurate than most shooters.  I have 4 custom builds on the LR uppers and lowers so I know they will hold up and can be the basis for very accurate builds.  Friends who have factory built LRs are just as happy with them as I have been with my builds.

I've had a couple of the 24" bull LR308s, and they work just fine. They also made itty bitty little groups
