Opinions on this rifle please? Any issues ? These do not have a forward assist....

I have one and like it a lot.  The only problem is they are heavy as hell with that 16" bull barrel.  If I had it all to do over again I'd have purchased a RRA with gov profile barrel for a few bucks more.

Here is a pic of my LoPro Classic (with mods) . . .

pros - affordable, very accurate, and compact
cons - no foward assist, very front heavy without weight in stock which would make the rifle even more heavy.

Flute that barrel and it would be about the best of both worlds. Personally speaking, I've always liked the Lo-Pro Classic...looks kinda snazzy.

Yea, if I could only find someone local to do it so I could save money on the shipping of the upper.  I think there is a place mentioned in the industry section that flutes for $50 but once you add the removal of the barrel from the upper, etc, etc it ends up being like $100.

I went with the DPMS lo-pro upper, this is rifle I use for Tactical rifle competitions, I wanted lightweight and less mass. The upper is a lil thicker than your average uppers.

This is matted to a Bushmaster Superlight Barrel and Oly Lower.

It is a little heavy but accurate as hell.I could care less if it had no forward assist.I shot sub 1" groups at 100yds with XM193 and this is my first AR-15.I love mine to death and you will also.

One sucky thing about is that I had to wait 5weeks to get it because DPMS is on back order for them but it was worth the wait and the 650bux.

Yeh...... I really like the "mod" in your picture.  Very cute.  Any more pics of the "mod"  (would that be 'model'???  You could always post more of those!
