HELP!!!   Does anyone know much about this rifle?  Would it be a good starter rifle?  Any advantages or disadvantages?  I think it has an A3 upper, A2 lower, free floating handguard and 16" bull barrel.

it was my first AR-15.  I got it cause the price was right, and i had never heard of this site.  Not a bad firearm, but it's chambered for .223 NOT 5.56, so if you buy, make sure you don't try to shoot 5.56 out of the weapon.  Also, there will prolly be a small piece of paper with it the tells you like 3 or 4 brands of ammo that will void the warranty if you shoot it (they will never know unless the bullet casing gets stuck in the chamber and you can't get it out).  It's front heavy, but i promise it will shoot very accurately no matter how hot you get it.  It's not chrome-lined either, if your looking for that.  If your not looking to join the M4gery bandwagon (I only own midlenths), I say buy it.  I did sell mine, along with nearly every weapon in this picture, to pay for a lawyer, but i did try to buy it back, and the guy refused to sell...

ETA:  Actually, looking at this picture, I don't own any of these weapons anymore...  And no it's no free floated, but it doesn't matter, because the barrel is so thick.  And, of course, Welcome!
