| Does anyone have one and do they like it? |
Well, my Mark 12 made it in - After a good look over, it seems like a very nice piece of hardware. One thing I did notice missing was the ambi-safety selector? Not sure what happened here but I dropped an email to the good folks at DPMS and asked for one as it is advertised as standard equipment on the Mark 12's, plus I'm a lefty shooter and could sure use it. I'm putting a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40mm M3 scope (Mil Dot) and Leupold Mark 4 30mm rings on my DPMS Mark 12, and then it will be picture time. Scope setup should be here by the end of the week. |
As predicted, the folks at DPMS are the stand up type of people that backup their product. Here's the response I got from DPMS with regards to the missing ambi-safety selector that I thought I would share with you all: "Chris, The Mark 12 is suppose to come with the ambi selector, I have entered an order to have one shipped to you. If you have any questions please feel free to contact myself. Thank you, Shane C DPMS Customer Service " Need I say more - Thank you DPMS! |
i'd like to hear about the accuracy. in guns and weapons for law enforcement, 1.5 inches at 150 feet was claimed . i'd also like to hear your thoughts on using it in a spec ops unit instead of that crappy mk12modx produced by NSWC crane . thanks and happy shooting!!! |
