Was pretty well sold on a DPMS Mark 12 that's on it's way to my local FFL and walk in today and he's got a Mini SASS on the shelf and offers me the gun if I'd rather have it versus the Mark 12.  Well maybe...  Would be interested in hearing from anyone that has some info on these rifles.  I need to make a call on it first thing in the am or it will be long gone.  I can buy it for standard money.  More food for thought in this decision.  I've already got a DPMS LR308 w/ 24" fluted SS barrel for bench rest and long range target and a DPMS 24 bull Special for prairie dogs and bench and this next rifle will be the tactical, SHTF, target and carry for coyotes rifle.  Both the Mark 12 and the SASS meet the needs but the SASS just came available and am thinking I might jump on it.  Both the Mark 12 and the SASS are 5.56.  Thanks ahead of time for your input.  I'm in Montana so we have lots of long range opportunities if that ties in to the mix.

I'd go with the Mini SASS, but it depends on preference of stock trigger etc.

Why would you go with the SASS?  I think either stock configuration will meet my needs just fine.  As for the trigger will there be a significant difference in the JP adjustable in the SASS vs the two stage match trigger in the Mark 12?
