| Just wondering if any one has seen these or owns one, An what were thought of them. Not much info on the net about them yet. My LGS got one in and I put it on layaway the day it came in. Been wanting a AR in 308 for a while and for the price with all the goodies on it didnt seem like to bad a deal. Thanks fellas. |
| I have one, and I really like it. But there are a few issues. It is VERY heavy for a 16" rifle. The trigger sucks, and should be the first thing you replace. It also has a commercial buffer tube, and I put a new extended recoil pad on, but now the stock won't close all of the way because it is the commercial version of the MOE stock. It is nice that they include a decent sling mount to start out with, but you will probably want to get better set-up. Don't get me wrong though, it is a great rifle out of the box, it just needs a little work. |
Thanks Maverick, It did seem a bit heavy. But the fit n finish looked very good. How is the recoil with it, Ive never shot a 308 AR before just kind of curious. Do you have an optic on yours? What kind of ammo do you use in it? Im still trying to justify the purchase, I keep running back n forth between and just telling them to take it off layaway, but I cant make myself call
