Any one here ever use one of these DPMS sights? If so I'd like your feed back on what you thought of it.

I’ve never personally used one, but I have seen previous feed back on them over the years. Some folks indicated that the thumb nuts were the weak point on the sight and there were reports of breakage.

ETA: If your looking for that particular type of rear BUIS, I would also suggest looking at the LMT BUIS. It’s more robust and currently in use by our military. Average cost new, about $110.

I don't remember where read it, but mine bears it out: though they have a 6/3 knob, you can only dial it to 5, for 500 Meters.  I thought someone had switched the riser and nut on the one I bought second-hand.

It's the same one that comes with the 308 AP-4. I hand tightened it and fired 50rds. and it stayed tight. I didn't fire enough rounds to really test it, as I switched to a scope now. I did find out one thing. With my old eyes the standard peep sights are fuzzy. With this sight I just mounted it a few notches forward on the rail so they are in focus.

Unless you find one used on the EE for $50, get something else.

I have owned 3 of them, and they are just fine and functional, but not worth $90.
