[ARCHIVED THREAD] - DPMS Spring Kit

Ordered some DPMS spring kits for 20 rounders. After installing a kit in a mag, I realized it would now only load 18! The follower has an extended post below the spring retaining hole. Interesting, nowhere did I see anything in the description that would have alerted me to this before I bought 'em.hinking.gif

You shouldn't load more than 18 in a 20 rounder. This is conventional wisdom on 20 rounders. Maybe DPMS did this to prevent no brainer over-loading.
