[ARCHIVED THREAD] - DPMS Upper?
Posted:

I'm thinking about getting this upper later this year.
http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=803&cat=1852
Anyone have anything to say about it? Good, bad or otherwise?
Thanks,
Chet

You can do much better than DPMS for that price or a lil more.

I have a DPMS upper one one of my Bushmasters. It's a 20" in 7.62x39 and i like it. Haven't had any problems with it.

What do you want to do with it? The listing explicitly says it's chambered for .223, so if you want to shoot 5.56mm, you're out of luck on that upper.

.223 is fine. Using it as a coyote rifle.
