If you dont want to wait forever I recommend Foulton said a couple weeks. DPMS told me on the phone this week it would be 2 months.

I reccomend you go with something lighter.    .936"  is a BIG barrel.    .875" still big, but I have a barrel, .750" from the chamber to the muzzle and it works great.   Even if its .750" at the gas block, its often 1" or so under the handguards.  The big question is what are you gonna do with it?

If you really want a heavier 18", then the SASS barrel is your best bet.

Unless you just really LIKE the heavy barrel, I'd probably opt for the medium contour .875 barrel.  I have an 18" .936 Heavy Barrel on mine, and I love it, but I can see that an .875 would probably be perfect.

It really just depends on a lot of information that you haven't given us.  :)
