| I'm needing a extractor that will work in a DPMS .308. I just need the extractor who has them instock and where is the best place to order one? What other brands will work? As long as it will work with my factory DPMS bolt. |

Brownells has an extractor for $34 or a DPMS 308 bolt completion kit for $40
Midway has the DPMS 308 bolt completion kit for $37 |

As long as it will work with my factory DPMS bolt. The new DPMS GII extractor will work in the older LR308 bolt and should be a nice upgrade as it is made from a better material. You should be able to order one directly from DPMS as they have them listed on their site - http://www.dpmsinc.com/DPMS-G2-Extractor-and-Elastomer-Spring-Kit_p_2521.html |
| JP Enterprises also has an upgraded extractor. If your gun is overgassed, it probably puts too much stress on the extractor and can cause premature failure. An adjustable gas block can be used to reduce gas flow, or a heavier buffer can be used to slow things down a bit. If you are breaking extractors it is probably overgassed. |
