Hi,

what can you tell me about this handguards? DPMS or Yankee Hill best?

Thanks.

I dont much care for either. I've seen the large threaded barrel nut on the DPMS tubes crack from time to time, which, to me, suggests they use pretty weak metal. I've also seen the YHM lock nut come loose on a number of occasions. For not a lot more money, I think you can get a much nicer FF handguard. I usually suggest Daniel Defense or LaRue.

The problem is that I can't find LaRue or Daniel Defense in my country, only a couple of brands. I'll try it by contacting them directly to see if the work with someone in Europe.

Thanks!

ESP = Spain.  My guess.

That said, for the price bracket that you're looking at, either is fine.  It's aluminum and sometimes...stuff just breaks.

YHM changed the design of their 4 rail tube to include set screws to prevent it from coming loose.  No problems with mine so far

Spain, as 'uscbigdawg1' said. We find two problems here: US vendors who doesn't bother to send pieces they can sell because we're not talking about triggers, barrels, etc. and our resellers that want us to pay  600usd for a 200usd...

And you can imagine how difficult is for us finding pieces for our ARs!
