Took it to the range for the first time today (I've been working 6-7 days a week for a month) and had issues. I don't think it's anything to do with the upper.
When I pull the trigger it fires 1 or 2 times!!! Most of the time when a round is chambered it fires once, extracts, feeds another round but does not fire. When cycled manually it chambers another round and fires once, but every now and then it may fire 2 rounds. Things I noticed are 1) it seem to eject forward 2) if it fires once the round in the chamber has a dimpled primer like a light strike. Is this a short cycle problem? Check the gas tube alingment Uh, what does gas tube alignment have to do with the weapon doubling? I've got a pounding headache and can't make sense of some things at the moment, but I'm pretty sure about this one... Check your LPK installation, specifically the disconnector and disconnector spring. Big end of the spring goes down, into the trigger. |
