It's totally random how they choose who gets a build code.
I signed up for a build code the first day they offered them. What...2 or 3 months ago now. Still no code. My buddy signed up less than a month ago, and received a build code in less than two weeks. I went to sign up for a code again just in case something weird was going on, and I was told that I had already registered for one. Real odd. Their build codes expire in like 72 hours or something though, and my buddy couldn't afford a DD upper at the time, so he passed his code to me. Ordered a complete 10.3" MK18 upper from them, and it took 7 days exactly to arrive at my door. They are quick once you get your code. |

Ordered an MK18 upper thru DD's custom build site last Monday night. It arrived this Monday. The shipping took longer than the building. |
