Whats the difference between the DD M4 lower and DDXV lower?

Did you mean DDXV and not DD15?  If so the difference is the MOE gear on the XV.

DDM4 lower has a Mugpul MOE stock and Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard (aluminum)

DDXV lower has an "M4" stock and Magpul MOE Trigger Guard (plastic)

Take a look a DD's site.  The DDVX's(V1, V2, V3, etc.) use the DDVX(obviously) lower.  The XVM uses the DDM4 lower.  From the looks the only thing that you are going to notice and in fact the only thing different is the stock and trigger guard.  Nothing drastic that can't easily be changed.  If you like the MOE stock, go with the XV.  If not get the regular one. I went with the XV personally.  It was $40 more, less than the cost of the stock.
