Anybody with the DD offset light mount have it on their railed gas block? (My block sets lower than the handguard rail)  Im wanting to try one that way but im worried the light when mounted may hit my rail panels.  Judging from a few pictures I had seen it seemed as if it would clear.  Just wanted to see someone may be running one this way.

IMHO that would put your light a bit too forward. You would be better served by having it closer to your forward grip.

Thought about that too.  I had a VFG on my gun for a while and just couldnt get used to it.  I kinda messed with my gun earlier, put the light whre it might set with the DD mount....  Holding the gun as if shooting I can actually spin the tailcap of the light fairly easy with my thumb.  Guess I can just buy the mount and try it.  If all else fails ill cut my rail panels and put it somewhere on my handguard.
