| I've built several ARs over the years. Always use no-name or Tapco stocks. Well, I just assembled a lower for a buddy. He supplied the lower, parts kit, Magpul Ctr stock, MOE + grip. All I can say is, I'm a Magpul convert. I can't look at my AR's stocks without noticing all the play in it. The CTR is rock solid!! I'm sold on Magpul from now on. Do the MOE stocks lock up as solod as the CTRs? |

My 3 adjustable stock ARs have Magpul; 2 MOE and 1 CTR. The SBR i'm building now will have a MOE. Eventually i want to build a precision AR with the PRS.
Magpul stocks are a great value. At any price point or application you can find a magpul stock that will work for you. In most cases the MOE does the job. The CTR is nice on my 3 gun AR. It removes the toggle so i feel confident about my 300 yard plus shots. The STR looks good, but like the ACS i dont like that little bit of extra weight. Edit: I am a magpul whore. I have RSAs, MOE grips, MIAD grips, RVGs, etc, etc. |
