Looking for a decent green laser to mount on my AR pistol.  I'd like to stay under $150.  I've seen some on fleabay for about $70 but want something that will hold a zero too.

Thanks for the help,

R.S.

I'm looking for the same thing. Green laser to mount on my AR pistol. I found the one below at Sportsmans guide. Its advertised as being comparable to some of the expensive ones but I don't recognize the brand.

Has anyone seen these or have any input on them? They're $150($135 for Sportsmans Guide members)

That one pictured by DizTemper looks exactly like the ones made in china.  They're OK but most like that are a floating head design. You have to unscrew the cap head cap and the hex adjustments are underneath. All the markings on the side are just for looks. You can find that one on ebay for about $50

cheers,LT

I have one and I can easily see it in daytime (not direct sunlight). BTW mine's the fixed head design w/turrets for wind/elev. It was $90 shipped (took 10 days).

Since these floating head lasers are problematic to align ....... what about a mount that's adjustable?

Roughneck, is the one you have look something like this:

Laser w/Turrets

Listed on fleebay but if you can actually adjust it with those turrets it might make a nice 'toy' laser...

Have you run into any problems with yours?

That's the one. The quality seems pretty solid and the head cap won't even come off, it really does adjust by the turrets.  I've only fired a few mags with it on and it's stay zeroed so far.  I check it with a bore laser.  The only thing, notice how the lettering (up/right) on the front doen't line up with the wind/elev turrets?  Mines the same and the cap doesn't turn.  I also have a laser with the floating head design, I just use it now as a pointer.

cheers, LT
