Just added a 5th AR to my collection--price was right at Wally World so I picked up a Diamondback.  Of course, I had to do a few things to it, like add an EOTech, Magpul BUIS's, and single point sling swivel.  All was well until I went to the range for some shooting--the collapsible stock slides right off the end of the buffer tube when the stock lock button is "pushed" or in the "adjusting" position.  In other words, when I depress the button it slides off the end--I do not have to "lift" the button in order to get it all the way off.

I got home and tried my Magpul stock on this tube to see if it was the tube or the stock itself--the Magpul stock does the same thing.

I think I have a buffer tube that was not manufactured to proper specs.  Any input on this?  My inclination right now is just order another buffer tube (commercial) from Brownell's and forget about this.
